It is an aged wine spirit, that is, a brandy, and not a grappa in the strict sense. It is obtained by distilling wine, rather than the pomace, as is the case with grappa.
The brachetto is a good red wine, low in alcohol, very soft: drinking a grappa made from its pomace is truly a pleasure.

The Ron Zacapa XO Solera Gran Reserva Especial is a super premium rum aged for up to 25 years.
Aged agricultural rum that, unlike industrial rums, matures in multiple French oak barrels according to the Solera system. The final stage takes place in European white oak barrels that previously contained French Cognac.
On the nose, elegant hints of ripe fruit, wood, and notes of bitter cocoa. On the palate, smooth and round with aromas of almond, vanilla, spices, and red fruits. Long finish with notes of ex-Cognac wood.

The Montebello distillery is located in the Basse-Terre region of Guadeloupe. A characteristic of Montebello is that the rum barrels (ex-bourbon) are stored in recycled containers. This allows heat and humidity to further act on the barrels, giving Montebello its unique flavor.
